AU Canada George VI circulation silver dollar. Average strike with some original luster. Exhibits light gold toning on obverse edge and over all of reverse. Light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Acquired: 2020 on eBay.
Composition: 80% silver. Weight: 23.3276 grams. Diameter: 36.06 mm. Thickness: 2.84 mm. Edge: Reeded. Mintage: 65,595 Obverse: The portrait in left profile of George VI is surrounded with the inscription "GEORGIVS VI D:G:REX ET IND:IMP" (George VI, King and Emperor of India by the grace of God). Reverse:A voyageur and an aboriginal travelling by canoe, carrying bundles of which one bears the initials "H.B." for Hudson's Bay Company, are surrounded with the face value and the inscription "CANADA".
