Owner Comments:

PCGS graded PR 64, CAC approved
Variety: Restrike - This silver coin was struck with the dies used to create the 1863-dated Judd 323 (copper) and Judd 324 (aluminum) "patterns", which were struck around 1871.

This is the second of only two known 1863 silver restrikes. The other is also currently in my collection, and can be seen in https://www.ngccoin.com/registry/competitive-sets/198963/ [EPC Liberty Seated Half Dimes (Proofs 1858-1873, Set 2)]
