President Eisenhower was truly a remarkable man.During WWII he was Supreme Allied Commander of all allied forces in the European Theater of Operations.He was given the rank of General of the Army and received his 5th Star on December 20,1944.He becomes the nation’s 34th President on January 20,1953.This modern day commemorative silver dollar was issued to celebrate the centennial of his birth.
The coin chosen by me to represent the year 1990 in this set is a 1990 P Eisenhower Centennial Silver Dollar graded PF 70 Ultra Cameo by NGC.The coin bears the P Mint Mark which stands for the Philadelphia Mint.This mint mark is located on the coin’s obverse side.This is a beautiful looking commemorative coin issued to honor a great American.
