A FINE EXAMPLE

While 1,247,952 Proof Sets were sold in 1957, quality control continued to be a nagging issue for the US Mint. Only 923 of those 1.2 Million+ 1957 Proof Nickels have ever been graded Proof 69. Just 8 Nickels from 1957 have been graded higher than this coin.
