Circulation strike mintage: 4,624,000

Of the few 1920-S examples I examined, most were usually weakly struck in the key focal areas (Obverse -- Liberty's Head, Left Hand; Reverse -- Eagle's Left Leg). This finding in the marketplace was consistent with the literature I read on the 1920-S. Cherrypicking was key, and I believe I acquired the best of the bunch.

Fantastic light rose-tinged rim toning on both obverse and reverse of this coin and traces of mint luster seen in protected areas between letters sold me on this coin for my collection. Overall, only slight wear was seen on this example; all design elements are clearly shown.

On the obverse, there is only slight wear (on the head and left leg predominantly). Breast and knee are visible as well as mostly all of Liberty's gown lines.

On the reverse, slightly less than half of the Eagle's breast and left leg feathers are visible.
