Owner Comments:

The present piece is in an older PCGS slab and accurately graded, imho. Very sharp strike in all areas, very smooth and clean and with great luster. It has a CAC green sticker for premium quality eye appeal. These MS 67 superb gems and very undervalued, these days, as I purchased this same coin for 40% below what it cost it's buyer back in 2012. I feel that they will rebound, as well as further appreciate in price, in the future.

In general, the 1941 P is usually well struck, although I have seen some on the softer side but still most examples have very good detail. Only the needle-sharp ones can be more elusive. Luster is usually bright and frosty and most are brilliant white, although some golden, medium toned examples and richly, colorfully toned examples do exist with the latter being more sought after and uncommon.

NGC Census 593/68 and PCGS Population 670/26.

Mintage at 24,192,000.
