Owner Comments:

JNDA 02-4. This is the last regular circulation coin in the album as the 500 yen coin was not produced until 1982. Minting for this style began in S42 (1967) and has continued to the current year. The obverse features cherry blossoms and has the now standard kanji for the government legend and denomination. The reverse has the Arabic denomination and the date.

Diameter 22.6, cupronickel, weight 4.80 grams.
