Interesting Mint error: First Day of Issue John Adams presidential dollar with doubled and inverted edge lettering housed in a PCGS Presidential Series holder. Holder grade is Brilliant Uncirculated, but actual grade appears to be MS65, possibly leaning toward MS66. No coin designation for BU FDI for this error was available as an option at time of entry. Light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with estimated grade. Cost: $19.00 on 5/25/11 on eBay from D. Adkison / AOC (accentoncoins).

NGC MINT ERROR MS 66

Interesting U.S. Grant presidential dollar with improperly spaced edge lettering. Coin is housed in an edge view slab but lettering spacing is difficult to visually assess. Dollar has very bright luster, strong strike, and no toning. Light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Cost: $21.76 on 10/20/12 on eBay from Coins Plus (coinspluscincy).
