Excellent West African States essai specimen 25 francs with strong strike, super luster, and no toning. Fields and devices are semi-prooflike with center portion of obverse device exhibiting very light cameo frost. Very light contact marks and scratches are present on both sides commensurate with grade. Cost: $20.02 on 3/18/16 on eBay from Alex Filer (totalman).
Composition: Aluminum-bronze. Weight: 7.95 grams. Diameter: 27 mm. Thickness: 2.2 mm. Edge: Milled.
