2019 Year of the Pig
The limited mintage 7,500 of 1/2 oz Perth Mint Bullion Lunar Pig silver proof coloured coins.
The design of the coin is a a colour representation of a piglet with gifts in the
background. It celebrates this social, inquisitive and highly brainy animal.
The design also incorporates the Chinese character for ‘pig’, the inscription ‘Year of the Pig’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2019 year-date, the weight and purity, and the monetary denomination are shown on the reverse of each coin.
