Owner Comments:

One of the first gold coins. There are two types of the Prince Ferdinand I's portrait. Type 1 is with lower relief of the prince's image. Type 2 is identical to the 20 and 100 leva coins of the same issue. The difference is most clearly visible if the prince's hair, cheek or cheek bone is to be treated. Type 2 is much rarer and considerably more valuable than Type 1.
