Omaha Bank Hoard Hall-of-Fame: 1953-S Wheat Cent

There are a variety of ways to diversify a collection from the Omaha Bank Hoard. Both NGC and PCGS are reliable sources for identifying coins from the Omaha Bank Hoard and the collector should use extreme caution if any other grading services offer coins claiming to be from this hoard.

Shown here is a 1953-S Wheat cent that was minted at the San Francisco mint and has been graded as MS66RD by PCGS. Being an East Coast guy, "S" mint marks were a challange to locate "back in the day" of true coin collectors, so I am happy to have acquired this Wheat Cent to represent the 1950's and San Francisco in my HOF collection.
