Guatemala, cob 8 Reales, 1752G J. S-G1a; Cal-426; KM-12; JP-8R20b. 26.85 grams. Choice grade (VF+) with excellent toning, broad flan with 100% full and bold date and both mintmarks, nearly full inner details, particularly desirable as being unholed. About as good as you are going to find for this series.
Pedigreed to the Antigua collection and to the UBS auction of January 2003 (lot 3434).
NGC VF30, now the finest of five graded at NGC, The other one in their census listed as a VF is a VF20 which is unholed (4884138-009). The other three graded as 1 in good, 2 in fine.
