Owner Comments:

Saints Cyril and Methodius are known as the creators of the first Slavonic alphabet- the Glagolitic. Canonized as saints for their translation and popularization of the Bible into old Bulgarian, which later became known as Old Church Slavonic language, as well as for disseminating Christianity among the Slavic nations. Proclaimed patrons of Europe by the Pope, the Orthodox Church honours them also as Cyril and Methodius and Their Five Desciples.
