Sicily, Eryx AR Tetradrachm. Circa 412-400 BC. Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving galloping quadriga right; Nike above flying left to crown the charioteer, grain ear in exergue / [ΕΡΥΚΙΝΟΝ], Aphrodite seated left on stool, dove alighting on right hand, while before her Eros, standing right, raising his right hand. Rizzo pl. LXIV, 12-13 (same dies); Basel 278 = Jameson 569; Kraay / Hirmer 192; HGC 2, 307. 16.56g, 24mm, 2h.
