This 5 New Cedi coin was in the lot I purchased raw in 2007. This piece, minted in only 1991, features a set of traditional Adowa Drums on the obverse. On the reverse is the shield at the heart of the national Coat of Arms.
The current NGC census shows this coin as Top Pop.
