CENTRAL AMERICAN REPUBLIC 1/2 Escudo 1846CR JB "CREZCA". NGC AU53 (Previously ANACS AU55) with beautiful purplish toning, probably from being stored in a leather pouch for a century or so, and a great even strike. One of the most attractive that I have seen. A bit surprised from the slight downgrade, but not altogether disappointed really.
