Owner Comments:
Incorrectly labeled as Grove 34a given that it is Grove 46a. Also, in my opinion seriously undergraded.
From the sale's catalogue: "Quezaltenango. Iturbide silver Proclamation Real Medal 1822 AU50 NGC, Grove-34a. Fon-7292, Prober-251. Attractively toned with few marks. Very scarce as a type and also collectible under Mexico."
Previously sold Auktionen Münzhandlung Sonntag, Auction 20 (9 - 10 December 2014) lot 187.
This is the best example of this proclamation medal that I have ever seen.
