Obv: Laureate and draped bust of Leopold I right; legend LEOPOLDVS D G ROM IMP S A G H B REX. Choice quality for this rare type. PCGS AU-58.

Nagybánya Reichstalers are considerably scarcer than contemporary Vienna and Hall issues, reflecting the mint’s limited output and regional role within Transylvania. A desirable and infrequently encountered type, particularly in higher states of preservation.
