Obverse: Bust of St. Patrick facing right and wearing a cope with a cowl and mitre, a crosier tied with a bow of ribbon to the right CRONEBANE HALFPENNY.
Reverse: The Arms and Crest of the Associated Irish Mine Company. The date 17 89 split by the shield ASSOCIATED IRISH MINE COMPANY

The Associated Irish Mine Company was formed in 1787 by nine men, including William Roe (head of Roe & Co. and the son of Charles Roe) and Abraham Mills. Abraham became the chairman of the company with its headquarters in Dublin. The company was formed to work copper and other mines. One of the main mines was the Cronebane mine outside of Wicklow.
