2024 Niue S$2 Year of the Dragon – Chibi
This stunning 1oz silver coin is part of the Year of the Dragon Lunar Chibi Series, minted by the renowned New Zealand Mint. The coin has been struck to proof quality from 0.999 fineness silver, with a certified perfect grade of PR70 by NGC.
The obverse of the coin shows the Dragon in chibi style: it appears as an adorable, miniature version of the fierce mythical creature costume. It has a round, chubby body with short limbs.
The design shows the cutest child in a dragon costume, holding a traditional red envelope featuring the Chinese character for ‘dragon’.
The reverse of the coin depicts the Public Seal of Niue and the inscriptions: "2023" – the year of issue, "TWO DOLLARS" – the face value, "1 oz 999 Fine Silver" the weight and the fineness of the Silver
