Owner Comments:
I’d call the 1923 S a semi key. It has smaller mintage of 6,440,000, and the pre mid 1930’s coins where not immediately pulled from circulation to the extent post mid 1930’s coins where with the advent of collector boards. This example is a well struck AU55, it has some appealing light toning, remaining luster and very nice surfaces, has an MS look in hand. DL
