Obverse: The face value of "10 LEI", the inscription "ROMANIA" and the year of issue "2005". In the middle, Romania's coat-of-arms, is placed in a rhomb-shaped inset, decorated with geometrical motifs on the outside.

Reverse: A sword with long triangular blade and semi-oval hilt-guard, as well as four daggers with longitudinal rib and wing-like handles, all the artefacts being part of the Perşinari Hoard. The inscriptions "TEZAUR" and "PERSINARI" are engraved on the upper part and the lower part respectively.
