Owner Comments:

CAC Approved. First year for the new Petite Head Braided Hair design--1839 head of 1840--all 200,000 minted from a single (N-8) die pair. Purchased from David Lawrence in 2015 who felt it was "amongst the prettiest uncirculated large cent we've had in a while". This coin keys out to be die state b, with a rarity of 2 (the attrition is not noted on slab). Deep lavender and blue tones with phenomenal luster.
