This is a coin from my collection. This is the very first hard shell holder that ANACS used after ten generations of photocert style of certifications. This holder was the only hard shell holder that was used by the ANA, all subsequent holders were used by Amos Press who bought the ANACS grading name from the ANA in 1990 (or around that time). These holders are usually thought of as conservatively graded, although I suspect that most still in existence are the coins that are not good upgrade candidates, or perhaps even over graded.
