From October 1941, All Star Comics #8 introduced the beautiful WONDER WOMAN™ to the world! This DC COMIX™ Coin displays the legendary comic cover, on 1oz of pure silver. It’s even coloured on all four sides to mimic the spine and pages!
It is notable for featuring the first appearance of Wonder Woman, also known as Diana Prince, an Amazon princess who was sent to Earth to help promote peace and justice. Her appearance was groundbreaking, as she was one of the first female superheroes in comics. On the obverse, as depicted on the original comic book, the inscriptions: ALL STAR COMICS.
The reverse of the coin depicts the Public Seal of Niue.
