Owner Comments:

KM-876. Despite a considerable mintage of 19,244,000, this is one of the most elusive of all George VI coins in mint state. Only seven coins have been graded by NGC, just five of which are mint state. This is the single gem example at MS-65. The numbers at PCGS are even more telling - six coins graded, three are mint state, and two are MS-65. This lone gem example from NGC has gun metal gray coloring with blushes of rose coloring, particularly on the reverse. It is well struck and is relatively free of blemishes. NGC census: 7-1/0.
