Critique: Late in life 5th Crowned Head portrait of QE2. With a single coin mintage of 13350, this is one of the most abundant PF70UC sovs available. As such, it seems that everyone else at the auction already had one, and there was very little bidder interest. So I was able to walk away with it for only $150 over the melt price, which was very nice indeed.
A very great number of these have been graded PF70UC, since it was struck for the special 65th (sapphire) anniversary of her reign. This particular coin is encapsulated in a holder indicating one of the first 150 coins struck. If you're in a long line, best to be near the front!
