Leo III "the Isaurian" was probably not really Isaurian. He donated a lot of sheep to Justinian II when that emperor still had a nose in the 690's. He was made part of Justinian's bodyguard. The guy on the back of the coin, Constantine V, is on the front of the next coin, from when he was emperor.
