This piece is one of only five examples that have been graded by NGC and at MS-64 BN (1/0), it is a top pop example. It is made of copper and has pleasing brown surfaces that exhibit ample red highlights. The “Chosen Friends Lodge No. 100 I.O.O.F.” referenced on this medal’s reverse was an Independent Order of Odd Fellows lodge that was located at Broad & Spring Garden streets in Philadelphia, PA. Its overall rarity is R7 (11-20 known).
