Owner Comments:

Judd-698; Pollock-777. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Rarity Low 7 (less than 12 existent). Standard Silver design with a right facing bust of Liberty wearing a cap ornamented with three stars, the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the border, and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on a scroll below. On the reverse, the denomination 10 CENTS is surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, the inscription STANDARD SILVER above, and the date 1869 below. This is a handsome, richly toned Gem with a sharp strike and smooth surfaces.
