Critique: Long, long ago, when I was a young collector, I became interested in gold sovereigns. I was especially intrigued by how many different mints across the globe had produced them. After doing a bit of research, I noticed that the Bombay mint had only produced sovs during a single year, and so that looked like a wonderful coin to own. Unfortunately, I didn't have the financial means to collect gold, and so I abandoned my dream. But, here I am many decades later, and with some money to burn, so I decided to take up the challenge of building some kind of gold sov set. Naturally, the very first coin I acquired was this 1918 Bombay beauty. Yes, I know there are 460 higher graded specimens, but this one is still very special to me, and won't ever be replaced. It's worth its weight in gold. :)
