This attractive specimen features gentle surface tone and a crisp strike, with a full expression of cartwheel brilliance beneath. The 1916-S 5 Centavos is a conditional rarity in GEM condition with only nine specimens graded MS65 or higher by NGC and PCGS combined. This specimen is tied (with one other) for the finest yet recognized by NGC, while only 5 examples certify finer by PCGS.
