Owner Comments:

This sestersius was minted by Tiberius to celebrate the birth of twins Tiberius and Germanicus Gemellus, sons of Drusus and Livilla. Tiberius Gemellus lived 19-23, dying at age 4. Germanicus Gemellus lived 19-37, likely murdered by Caligula as Tiberius left both Gemellus and Caligula as his heirs.
