In a generation 4 PCGS old green holder used from Jan 1990 through mid-1995.
Ex: Elizabeth MacPhail Charters (b. 1916 - d. 2012) Collection.
Mintage: 7,997,000
Combined populations in MS65 at NGC and PCGS of 18 coins, with 7 graded higher in MS66 (4 NGC and 3 PCGS). While a relatively common coin, this is not a common coin in gem condition with superb toning. I've not seen a more eye appealing old-head sixpence of any date.
