At the time this 1831 Capped Bust Half Dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint Andrew Jackson was the 7th President of the United States.President Jackson’s wife (Rachael Donelson Jackson) died before he assumed office;therefore,the United States had no First Lady for both his terms as President from 1829-1837.
