ANACS Photo cert Type 9
Issued for a short time only in Jan 1987. If was the last photo cert issued using a black and white photo. Serial numbers are supposedly known to have either previous type L-NNNN-L or the "new" LLLNNN (3 letters & 3 numbers). It is difficult to tell if photo is B&W and not color as in Type 10 with untoned silver coins, having a side by side in person comparison may be the best way to determine. *It is possible there is another way as my cert is 3 1/2" x 5" while T10 is 3 1/2" x 5 3/16", this may be just unique to mine as it appears that the photos are a bit off center and may have had the right side trimmed down. Will have to wait until I find another or someone confirms or contradicts the size difference.* Rarity~ Very Scarce
