The New Assembly Rooms were built by subscription and opened in October 1771. They contained a ballroom, card rooms and several other public rooms. They were in use until they were burned out in WWII and were subsequently restored.
A mule token made my Peter Kempson using a new Bath city die with his New Assembly Room die from his Bath medalette series (Somersetshire Bath #83).
