Nepos was the last Western Roman Emperor (also last to be recognized by the East). He Ruled from Italy from June 474 until August 475, when he fled to Dalmatia and remained the legitimate Western Roman Emperor until his assassination in 480. After which time, the remaining Western Empire fell. He is the last legitimate Emperor of the Western Roman Empire. His coinage is particularly rare.
