On a later occasion, another listing by GreatCollections this time in auction I won the coin for $51. I re-listed the coin on my "ed*l" eBay ID at a modest $200buynow format and it instantly sold in a couple of days. See my long description used for the listing. This item is a 2008-D JEFFERSON NGC SMS MS 69 6FS 5C *15/0 pop - $100 PG - 223 Registry points*, coin is as titled and pictured. This Satin Finish Jefferson reaches out in pinnacle grade to be as good as it gets. With a top SMS MS 69 6FS coin one can in eye view appreciate the ease of seeing every detail as it was meant to be viewed. Carrying on with the same new 2006 obverse of Jefferson's portrait, designed by Jamie Franki and sculpted by Donna Weaver of the Mint's staff, he is shown as a great statesman in a facing view offset to the left. The reverse, designed by Felix Schlag and John Mercanti, continues the same 2006 Return to Monticello theme of exhibiting Jefferson's mansion that has in front six full steps up to the entrance.
