Heritage Description
Target Reverse $50 Slug, MS66 NGC Gilt. J-315/HK-424A. R.7. Obverse is Defiant Eagle. Reverse is target reverse facsimile with 50 at center. Listed in the past by NGC as HK-424A. Essentially flawless in execution and preservation. A similar example sold in the March 2010 Heritage auction for $1,495.

c1915 Target Reverse $50 Facsimile #1 - J315 / HK 424A - Very Rare .. Ex. Kagin. The obverse has a Humbert Eagle design similar to HK 424 but it is not the same and was not made by I & J. The reverse is the Target Reverse 50 with rays design. Die struck and a very high quality facsimile. Notes accompanying the purchase indicates the facsimile was made by Moise-Klinkner Co. of San Francisco. Listed by NGC as HK 424A in the past.
