THRACIAN DYNASTS. Koson (ca. 44-42 BC). AV stater (8.37 gm). NGC Choice MS 5/5 - 5/5.
Roman consul (L. Junius Brutus) walking left, accompanied by two lictors fore and aft, monogram before, KOΣON in exergue / Eagle with spread wings standing left on scepter, clutching laurel wreath in right talon. RPC 1701. Crisply struck, with a nicely centered reverse.
