Presidential $1 Coin Design:

The obverse (heads) design of this Presidential $1 coin features a forward facing portrait of Lyndon B. Johnson. Inscriptions are “Lyndon B. Johnson,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “36th PRESIDENT” and “1963 – 1969.”

The reverse (tails) design of the Presidential $1 Coin depicts a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty.

This coin’s designs feature large, dramatic artwork, as well as edge–incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and the mint mark. “IN GOD WE TRUST” appears on the face of the coin.

Presidential Silver Medal Design:

The obverse of the medal features a portrait of Lyndon B. Johnson with the inscription “LYNDON B. JOHNSON” centered along the border of the medal. The reverse of the medal features the inscriptions “PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,” “NOVEMBER 22, 1963,” “WE WILL SERVE ALL THE NATION: A UNITED PEOPLE WITH A UNITED PURPOSE: LYNDON B. JOHNSON.”
