Owner Comments:

Although this is not officially recognized as a Sede Vacante taler, I have made an exception for this piece. It is a one year type struck by the German State of Munster to commemorate the death of the Bishop, Friedrich-Christian von Plettenberg, in 1706. The official Sede Vacante taler to recognize this event was issued by Munster later in the same year. One of 3 pieces graded by NGC and PCGS.
