Panama - 1976FM Proof Balboa - KM #39.1a - Mintage: 14,000
These coins were minted in Proof condition by the Franklin Mint. According to the Krause Catalog, the obverse contains the National Coat of Arms of Panama, and the reverse is dominated by the quarter facing, helmeted head of Vasco Nuñez De Balboa. This time I'm going to side with NGC on their choice of obverse.
This coin is currently the finest known example graded by NGC and the only one with an Ultra Cameo designation.
