This 20.00 grams, .900 Ag, 33.5 mm, Proof Austrian 50 Schillings Commemorative 50th Anniversary of the Republic coin a very limited mintage of just 39,800 and has a very low NGC population of 4. The obverse was engraved by Edwin Grienauer and features the Parliament building in Vienna with proof surfaces between pillars and the dates 1918 and 1968 at bottom. The reverse was engraved by Fritz Tiefenthaler and depicts shields forming a circle around the 50 schillings value. This coin has been demonetized.
