Owner Comments:
Commemorates the death of bishop Maximilian Franz in 1801. This was the last issue of coinage from this state, as all of the ecclesiastical states were mediatized by Napoleon in the years to follow. Also recognized as a half taler. The 2/3 is believed to recognize that the issue is also 2/3 of a gulden. Classified as Schulze 270; Zepernick 334.
