Owner's Description
Elizabethtown, KY The First-Hardin NB Ch. # (S)6028 Fr. 548 $10 1882 DB Fr. 548 Napier | McClung PMG 20 SN 5321/T348119 pp C/103 dtd. August 5, 1911. Pretty signatures of President C. Hotopp and Cashier Horace Hays. This Hardin County institution changed its name in 1911, when the First National Bank of Elizabethtown was liquidated and this bank assumed its circulation. The resulting title change is reflected on this moderately circulated note which is only the second $10 Date Back to be reported. PMG Very Fine 20, with a few edge splits.
