Owner's Description
Nice red seal 1902. What a sweet addition to the 1902's. This note is one of those head scratchers. I am not a big fan of soiled notes like many folks, however all of us have to make exceptions every once in a while. This is a perfect example. The note is fairly graded at a VF 30. The soiling is not serious as the note is evenly worn and has a yellowish tint. A note I would usually pass. But look at the red seal and the red lettering. Even with the yellowing and appearance of soil the beauty of the red seal combined with the bold pen signatures. This note has a lot of character. I truly love this New York City red seal.
