Owner's Description

Inherited from Pop and Granny. This is my favorite note in the entire collection in a strange kind of way. My grandparents had a small clothing store in Rosenberg, TX and pop almost certainly picked this large note out of the till after small notes replaced large notes. I was delighted the grade came back a 12 without NET. He didn't realize, I guess, that saving chewed up notes wasn't as good as pristine but I guess since he immigrated to the US in 1917 at age of 18, any silver dollar was wonderful.
